Coral Power Phosphate Up 100ml. Coral Essentials

In ULNS (Ultra Low Nutrient Systems) aquariums, corals can be poorly colored and unhealthy if they lack available phosphate. Coral Essentials recommends using Coral Power Phosphate Up when you cannot reach phosphate levels to maintain a balanced carbon/nitrate/phosphate system. Coral will be more vibrant and colorful when nitrate and phosphate are kept at the correct levels. Coral Essentials recommends operating your aquarium at a phosphate level between 0.01 ppm and 0.05 ppm.

Manual dosing

For ULNS systems only, we recommend starting by dosing 1 drop (0.05 ml)/day per 100 L (26 gal) of tank water. Variations above and below the recommended dosage can be made depending on the conditions of your own tank and the density of the coral present.

Advanced dosing

For the advanced hobbyist, 1 ml will increase phosphate levels by 0.01 ppm (mg/L) per 100 L (26 gallons) of tank water. For drip dosing, 2 drops (0.1 ml) will increase phosphate levels by 0.001 ppm in 100 l. If you know the rate of PO4 depletion in your system, dose accordingly as above.
