JBL Fungol Plus 250ml

Active antimycotic for the fight against external mycoses ( fungal infections ) of ornamental fish caused by fungi of the Saproleniaceae family.

It can be used in freshwater aquariums .

It does not contain copper .

Do not use with invertebrates .

It can also be used for the treatment of mycosis of fish eggs, fungi of the genus Achlya and mouth infections caused by bacteria of the genus Columnaris.

Fungol saprolegnia treatment One of the first symptoms of this disease is the appearance of whitish branched filaments in a cottony shape that can come out of any external part of the animal's body. It must be taken into account that fungi are commonly found in water and that the disease is secondary to a previous injury to the animal. It is advisable to immediately isolate the affected animal as it can be the cause of the infection of all the other fish in the aquarium.

Recommendations for use: Normally favorable results are observed after 1 or 2 days. A repetition of the treatment can be done on days 3 and 5, after changing 50% of the water in the tank. Water should not be carbon filtered and water clarifiers should be turned off during treatment. In very weakened fish it is necessary to reduce the dose by half and then gradually increase it.

Its use in combination with Ektol Cristal is recommended since it ensures that the fish renews the mucous membranes destroyed by the fungus , while fungol is responsible for eliminating the visible part of the fungus. It should not be used in combination with other preparations such as Punktol ultra.

Ingredients: 100 ml contains 20 mg of N,N-dimethyl-4 (-p-dimethylamino)-diphenylmethylene)-2,5-cyclohexadienylidenammoniumchloride, 4 mg of Tris-(4-dimethylaminophenyl)-carboniumchloride and addition of purified water until reaching at 100 ml.
